Moving towards Meditation is a morning movement (asana) and meditation practice. The intention is that the asana will prepare the body for both supine and seated meditation techniques.
Following the methods of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, you will be introduced to simple preparatory exercises that connect breath with movement and ease you into a restful focus of the mind. This course may significantly change your life!
About Allison Milner
Allison is deeply interested in both the physical and mental applications of the Yoga system. Her classes are rooted in her sound anatomical knowledge and her sincere interest in facilitating a practice suitable to all levels and abilities.
Part of Allison’s Advanced yoga study and an area of special interest involved retreats to Northern India in 2014, 2015 and 2017 to study meditation in the Himalayan Tradition with her teachers Jim Harrington and Raghavendra Adiga-ji.
