Jim Harrington is the founder of ReUnion Yoga & Meditation. He has been practicing and teaching yoga for more than 20 years. Jim has been called “The teacher’s teacher” because he has mentored 150 other teachers through is mentorship and teacher training programmes. After travelling the world, and studying with yoga masters in India and China for years, it was in his hometown of Sydney that Jim found what he had been looking for - a more medical and scientific approach to yoga. The synthesis of the ancient traditions with contemporary thinking and research-based science continues to inform his approach to yoga, pranayama and meditation. Jim says of yoga: “My philosophy is that anyone who can breathe can do yoga. You don’t have to be super bendy or even very fit to start feeling the benefits of yoga practice. I get a huge amount of satisfaction out of seeing people discover those benefits.”...

Allison Tipton Milner

She was first introduced to Yoga in 1992 as a conditioning exercise during her years as a professional dancer. Later in life she returned to the Yoga practice as a management tool for depression, and a true life-practice began to bloom. Allison is deeply interested in both the physical and mental applications of the Yoga system. Her classes are rooted in her sound anatomical knowledge and her sincere interest in facilitating a practice suitable to all levels and abilities. In 2011 Allison completed a 200-hour teacher training with Jim Harrington and Tamsin Sheehy in Ashtanga-based Yoga, and went on to teach group classes at Yoga Spirit and Yo Yoga from 2012-2016. Between 2014 - 2016 she completed another 300-hours of study with Jim Harrington Yoga towards her Advanced Teacher Training 500-hour qualification. Part of this Advanced study involved retreats to Northern India in 2014, 2015 and 2017 to study meditation in the Himalayan Tradition with her teachers Jim Harrington and Raghavendra Adiga-ji. ...

Kimberly's practice started as a student at UCT, studying BMus in Dance (2013) However, movement has been a priority and fascination of hers since before she can remember. Introduced mainly through the discipline of Classical Ballet, throughout the years Kimberly has gradually sought to broaden her understanding of how bodies move and function. While working in Hong Kong, yoga became monumental in her every day life. Practicing regularly, yoga fueled and nourished her. Motivated and inspired, she completed her 200hour Teacher Training with Jim Harrington, which now gives her the opportunity to explore and share these teachings. She enjoys implementing movement concepts across several different disciplines, in a playful and in-depth approach.
